UPDATES!!

* The party will start with toasts at 4pm! Followed by live music, dancing, dinner and games.
* Bring the kids, but please leave the dogs at home. There will be enough chaos as it is (especially with my mother around!)
* Please bring a potluck dish (if you live in AK)! We will have roast pig and slaw (ala Nate!) and a few veggie dishes. Your dish should be something that can stay at an outdoor temperature. We do have a grill, and hopefully will have a fire, weather permitting. We will provide beer, boxed wine (high class!), and nonalcoholic drinks, but if you have another favorite, please bring it.
* Dress warmly! Bring camp chairs. This party is outside. We will have tarps up in case of rain and a few tents for the food. Bug dope of all varieties will be provided. :)
* we will have breakfast available the next morning, at our house/campsite area. Nothing fancy: oatmeal, bagels, coffee/tea. We will also have lunch fixings set out for those going on an afternoon adventure.
* Raft trip: PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU WANT TO GO!! WE NEED NUMBERS! Also let us know if you need a life jacket! There is no harm in cancelling at the last minute, but we need to know how many boats to get, so let me know via email or phone text. The river is easy water and an approximate 3-4 hour raft. Leaving Talkeetna by train at 12:45pm, arrivng in Curry at 1:30pm and arriving back in Talkeetna by raft by about 5-6pm. You should have warm clothes, rain gear, and footwear that can get wet. We will have lunch materials (pb&j, lunch meats) and snacks available at breakfast so that you can pack your own lunch.
* Kayti and the Altar boys will be playing awesome jams from 4:30-9:30, after which I will probably plug in some phat faves from the 90's :)
* needed: extra large coffee/hot water thermoses. If you or an organization you are a part of has one of these, we would love to borrow it!
* camping: we have a gravel pad and an outhouse on our property, which is about a mile from the party. We may have a few platforms set up by then, too!

Where:  Talkeetna, Alaska

What:  pig roast, live music, good beer, and fun on the Talkeetna river.

Why: because we want to celebrate our marriage and our love with friends and family!
